poster-gameofthrones3The internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Suvudu featured an First 50 Pages of Star Wars: Annihilation by Drew Karpyshyn. Sarah Peed posted a Dear Reader: Letter From Kevin Hearne. Fictional Frontiers posted 15 Minutes of Fiction with Chris Ryall. Matt Staggs interviewed Kelley Armstrong, author of Frostbitten. And I told you Gifts For the Geek Is Back!

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com continued its re-read of A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin, Pyr BooksResets Superheroes in Steamkpunk World, and Orbit Books features a Guest Post: Joe Abercrombie!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Suvudu week ending 11/17/12:

  • Comment: Terry Pratchett News, read by A Dribble of Ink
  • Comment: Games of Throne: Season 3 News, posted by A Fantasy Reader
  • Comment: 2012 Goodreads Award SemiFinals, posted by Fantasy Book Critic
  • Interview: Kate Milford, posted by Fantasy Literature
  • Review: Eisenhorn by Dan Abnett, read by Graeme’s Fantasy Book Review
  • Review: Legion by Brandon Sanderson, read by Grasping For the Wind

  • Excerpt: Cold Days by Jim Butcher, posted by Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist
  • Giveaway: Renegade by J.A. Souders, posted by Sci-Fi Chick
  • Comment: Game of Thrones: Season 3 News, posted by Wertzone

I highly recommend all Suvudu readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
